Hi, I’m Greta.
A trained winemaker with a focus on direct to consumer marketing.
I have been a part of the wine industry for over eight years, with a strong educational background in winemaking through my Post-Graduate Diploma in Wine Science (University of Auckland) and WSET Level 2 studies.
Following graduation, I worked vintages at Mudbrick Vineyard and Villa Maria in Auckland, New Zealand; Marcassin in California, USA; Leeuwin Estate in Margaret River, Australia; Domaine Dublere in Burgundy, France; and Castello di Ama in Chianti, Italy. I also worked for a wine store and distributor in London, UK.
I then turned my interest to digital marketing and wine, with a particular focus on email marketing, automated email programs, e-commerce D2C sales, copywriting, social media and memberships.
Over the last three years I have worked with eight wine brands to:
Design and maintain websites (Shopify & Squarespace)
Produce short- and long-form copy for websites, email, press releases, blogs and social media
Manage direct to consumer e-commerce sales and collaborate with cellar doors
Develop email marketing strategy, as well as create e-newsletters and automated email programs
Foster active members, build mailing lists and improve loyalty programs
Implement social media strategy and content creation
